Fore Runner Adventure Series
$4,300.00
The performance of a rigid fiberglass hull. The packability of a duffel bag.
Engineered for serious pursuits, the Adventure Series utilizes a patented interlocking solid floor that allows the craft to pack down into a car trunk or lazarette in minutes. Whether deployed as a yacht tender or an offshore exploration vessel, it cuts through chop, tracks straight, and refuses to compromise on stability.
Unfold. Lock. Launch.

Zero Compromise Construction
- Quick-Lock Hull: Pneumatic pressure locks the hinged fiberglass sections into an impenetrable, one-piece V-hull.
-
Armor-Plated Fabric: Built with German Heytex material, featuring integrated mold and UV inhibitors.
-
Thermal Welding: 100% bonded seams for extreme longevity—zero glue failures.
-
Offshore Ready: Category C rated for open water with a re-engineered hull to efficiently cut through chop without the "bounce" of standard inflatables.
-
Tactical Mounting: Built-in eyebolts, transom pad eyes, and accessory mounts for rapid deployment of gear, canopies, or lifting davits.
290 AS vs. 340 AS

The Questions Every Buyer Asks
A folding RIB is unusual. These are the details that matter before you choose one.
Yes. Fore Runner uses a folding fiberglass hull that locks into a rigid V-shape when inflated. Unlike soft-floor inflatables, the hull sections are solid and connected by reinforced hinges, giving the boat a much firmer, more stable ride on the water.
Yes. The folding system is built around reinforced hinge areas supported by heavy-duty flexible material, allowing the hull to fold and unfold repeatedly without relying on a fragile hard joint.
As with any inflatable boat, long-term durability depends on proper care. Regular cleaning, correct storage and appropriate inflatable boat conditioners will help extend the life of the tubes and hinge areas.
Because the boat packs down into a compact footprint (approx. 36" x 36" x 18"), it can be shipped directly to your door or marina via standard freight lines, unlike traditional RIBs which require specialized boat haulers.
Fore Runner combines rigid marine-grade fibreglass hull sections with German Heytex® inflatable tubes. Heytex® is a premium marine fabric chosen for durability, UV resistance and long-term performance.
The seams are thermally welded rather than glued, helping create a stronger, longer-lasting bond and reducing one of the most common failure points in inflatable boats.

WHAT THEY SAY
“
"Basically, folding RIBs don’t exist. This is the only one. We took it out in 3-foot chop and it handled exactly like a solid tender."
Marine Review Weekly
“
"Once those tubes inflate, the floor locks in so tight you'd swear it was a single piece of fiberglass. Incredible engineering."
Capt. James H.
“
"Having a proper fiberglass boat that fits under the bed in my van is unreal. Setup genuinely takes me under 5 minutes solo."

Frequently Asked Questions
Both the 290 AS and 340 AS are rated for up to 15 HP, giving you enough power for tender use, exploring, fishing and general recreational boating. Always follow the model-specific rating and local regulations when choosing an outboard.
At 95 lbs. and 105 lbs. respectively, the 290AS and 340AS are shockingly lightweight. Most customers comment that they expected it to be heavier given how the boat is constructed. The travel bag is fitted with 4 robust handles (2 per side) and two people can move the boat in a folded or inflated state quite easily.
While the 290AS can be moved with just one person, it is much easier with two. The combination of weight and portability is a big reason these boats appeal to both boaters and travelers alike.
Fore Runner is designed to pack down into a compact travel bag, making it much easier to ship than a traditional hard-hull RIB. Shipping options, costs and delivery timelines are confirmed at checkout based on your location.

Absolutely. The Fore Runner was built to make boating accessible — setup takes about 4 minutes, and operating it with an outboard is as straightforward as it gets. You don't need a trailer, a launch ramp, or years of experience. If you live near the water, you can enjoy life on it. It's a boat that removes the barriers that keeps a lot of people off the water in the first place.
The Fore Runner is as safe as any traditional RIB. And when compared to a SIB (soft inflatable boat) that has a blow-up floor/hull, the Fore Runner is much safer. Our rigid fiberglass hull is resistant to damage that SIBs are prone to, taking foul weather much more safely — similar to a traditional RIB.
